REGISTER NOW TO AUDITION FOR FOMA'S 'THE OPENING ACT' TALENT SEARCH AND WIN A SPOT IN THE 2026 LINEUP!

The Opening Act is a talent search event where successful performers have the opportunity to book one of three opening spots or one feature spot in the Music Alley 2026 concert series.  We are looking for solo, duo, and trio acts to come in to perform for this special event.  Each act will have the chance to perform 2-3 songs within a 10-minute set.  Judges will be on site and will be scoring performances for consideration for one of the prized opening or feature bookings in the 2026 Music Alley lineup.

*UPDATE: This event's timeframe was changed from 12:00 - 6:00 pm to 2:30 - 8:00 pm to accommodate a scheduling conflict with our venue.

​Friends of Music Alley

Enjoy amazing live performers for free at the Friends of Music Alley events right in historic Bridgewater, MA at our outdoor Black Hat Brew Works location (25 Scotland Blvd., Bridgewater, MA 02324). Performances take place between 5:30 PM and 8 PM on Thursday evenings during the summer and fall. There is no better place for family-centered entertainment, local food vendors, and the community to gather and share in live music!

Friends of Music Alley has a great lineup of performances booked all summer! Meet me in the alley!  Performances occur between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. each Thursday between June and September.
